Powerflame Burner Product Lines
  • Type AC is an air atomized burner designed to fire #2 or similar distillate fuels with higher turn downs compared to pressure atomized burners. Combination fuel burners that will fire a wide range of gaseous fuels are also available. Power Flame Incorporated has introduced the Type AC Air Atomized #2 Fuel Oil and combination Gas / #2 Fuel Oil burners. The Type AC burners are catalog rated from 23.5 GPH to 136.4 GPH on light oil and from 3285 MBH to 19,100 MBH on gaseous fuels. The burners are capable of an 8:1 turndown ratio on oil and a 10:1 turndown ratio on gas. This latest addition to a full range of burner products expands the company's offerings for commercial, industrial and process applications. The Type AC burners are U.L. Listed, provide state-of-the-art design for maximum combustion efficiency and operating dependability. These packaged combustion systems will fire #2 fuel oil or similar distillate liquid fuels, as well as all types of gaseous fuels. The flame retention firing head incorporates a single nozzle air atomizing assembly for liquid fuels and a nozzle mix multiport combustor for gaseous fuels. The unique air sandwich design of the firing head produces full range stable performance in both positive or negative combustion chambers. Operating adjustments have been minimized to provide trouble-free start-up and operating performance. Air atomization of liquid fuels provides a greater turndown capability over conventional pressure atomized burners. The entire family of Type AC burners are easily adaptable for low NOx operation

  • Type C Burners are designed to fire a wide range of gaseous, as well as #2 or similar distillate fuels. Packaged Liquid Waste Fuel Burning systems, employing the basic design principles of the Type C dual fuel burner are also available. The Power Flame Model CGO dual fuel burner presents an optimum state-of-the-art design for maximum combustion efficiency and operating dependability, These packaged combustion systems will fire all types of gaseous fuels, as well as #2 or similar distillate liquid fuels. The flame retention firing head incorporates a single nozzle pressure atomizing assembly for liquid fuels and a nozzle mix multiport combustor for gaseous fuels. The unique air sandwich design of the firing head produces full range stable performance in both positive and negative combustion chambers. Operating system adjustments have been minimized to provide trouble-free start up and operating performance. The Model CGO provides efficient combustion without the aid of refractory or other costly devices. Optional features include the premix and low gas pressure firing heads for limited size combustion chamber configurations or low gas pressure conditions. Modular design produces added flexibility for a wide range of optional features. All Power Flame packaged combustion systems are factory fire-tested to ensure cost effective installation and start up.

  • Type FD burner is designed for direct fired air heating utilizing natural, L.P. or other gaseous fuels. Featuring high turn down of 40:1 or more when direct firing. ETL Listed. The Power Flame Type FD Burner is specifically designed to fire process air heating appliances that require heat application directly to the system air stream. This new generation burner is especially well suited for applications that move large quantities of air at high velocity. Factory fire tested and shipped as a complete assembly, all FD burners can be ordered with optional gas train and combustion control system or as a basic burner assembly only. The high tech combustion head design allows for turndowns in excess of 30 to 1 and short flame lengths while maintaining excellent flame stability across the entire modulating range. The FD fixed air damper simplifies operating system adjustment to provide trouble-free start up and reliable performance. Welded steel construction ensures dependable operation and long service life. And low maintenance requirements means consistent, high-efficiency operation and reliable performance between scheduled servicing.
